My name is Augustin and I graduated from the Ecole Boulle in Paris as a sculptor in June 2022.
In October 2022, I moved to Italy to get a Master degree in Sculpture at the Sacred Art School in Florence. I graduated in 2024 and then I opened my own art studio in Florence in May 2025. For me, this is the Italian equivalent of the American dream: to work as an artist in a city filled with frescoed cloisters and churches!
I find my inspiration here in Florence, the cradle of the Renaissance, where Leonardo, Michelangelo, Raphael and so many others lived. My original sculptures and commissioned pieces draw on the depth of sacred art and in the human figure.
I mainly work with clay, moulding it, firing it, or using it as a base for pieces in plaster, resin, or wood.
My works are available as unique pieces and reproductions.

What mainly guides my work above all is the quest for beauty and the desire to express, through matter, the great questions that dwell in the human heart.
Far from the noise and bustle of the world, I seek a form of art that elevates and speaks to the soul. In an increasingly digital world dominated by ‘above-ground’ concepts – the art world is no exception – I choose to return to a practice more rooted in manual gesture, craftsmanship and figuration.
I draw inspiration from the great artistic traditions to create works that have meaning — both rooted and open, heirs to the past but also definitely contemporary in what they seek to express. Beauty, faith, memory and mystery are at the heart of my approach.
Trained at the École Boulle in Paris and then at the Sacred Art School in Florence, I strive to master classical techniques in order to bring them to life today. For me, each work is a way of creating a dialogue between the past and the present, the visible and the invisible.
